bath time

this is how bath time goes down at the jeffs' house. it's going to sound a little more ridiculous than it really is, i promise. for sake of ease, let's say i bathe austin first.

1. get austin ready (take off clothes and diaper)
2. put reagan in the high chair in the kitchen
3. put austin in the bathtub in the sink
4. wash austin
5. carry austin into the living room (or nursery)
6. carry reagan into the living room (or nursery)
7. get austin lotioned/dressed
8. get reagan ready (take off clothes and diaper)
9. put austin in the high chair in the kitchen
10. put reagan in the bathtub in the sink
11. wash reagan
12. carry reagan into the living room (or nursery)
13. carry austin into the living room (or nursery)
14. get reagan lotioned/dressed
15. put reagan in her crib (they kids always go down for a nap afterwards)
16. put austin in his crib
17. clean up!

i always have both kids with me in the room so i can keep an eye on the not-bathing one while i bathe the other. i suppose i don't have to do it that way, but it's what works best for me. it just results in lots of carrying babies around!

(and i didn't realize how involved my bathing process was until i was telling my sister about it one night.)

these are the latest bathing pictures we have - from april!! i should really take some new ones because they both LOVE their baths. so much so that mom gets a bath when she bathes them. :)

*for the memory books: their latest bath time trick is that they stick their big toes in the faucet while the water is running, causing water to spray everywhere. it's pretty funny.

I love these daily posts! Gives me something to look forward to- pictures of those cute twins!

I love your crazy routine. I should be better about setting a routine and I only have one baby!
