...is what i got to deal with yesterday morning. it was one of those days where i swore these were the only two kids i was having, and darn good thing i got one of each. (you're kind of in a pickle when one kid is screaming, so you hold that one, but the other one is screaming, too, and you only have so many arms...)

but this was the result. happy day. we all took a nice big nap together after lunch. it was lovely.

i don't know WHAT was bugging austin yesterday, but he cried/screamed for at least an hour and fifteen minutes. i did everything i could think of to help him out, but to no avail. poor guy cried so hard for so long!

do ya remember when you were little and you cried so hard that you did that fast inhale/almost hiccough-y reflex afterwards? austin continued to do so through his 3 hour nap. poor little man.

but the GOOD news is they were both much better today.
