apparently my kids don't.
we went to the jeffs' cabin for conference weekend with tyler's family, and austin decided he didn't need to sleep. and he wanted everyone to be awake with him. at 3:00am. and again at 6:00am.
at least at 3:00am he conceded and went back to sleep. at 6:00am he decided to play the roll of rooster and wake everyone up. (everyone claims he didn't wake them up, but i don't know about that...) we had to take him down to the basement to keep the noise down.
(tyler was my hero and let me go back to sleep while he stayed up with the kids - because yes, austin woke reagan up - at 6:00am. and this was after we'd gone to bed well after 12:00am and had to deal with the 3:00am wake-up.)
on top of not sleeping at night, austin went down for his naps kicking and screaming. quite literally. i think the poor guy is teething. he has a pretty sore bum, too, so overall he had a tough, tough weekend. now that we're home, i'm hoping that things get a little better.
until then, i'll keep looking at pictures of my kids peacefully sleeping and daydream of actually dreaming at night.
p.s. happy 9 month birthday, twins!!

9 months!! Oh my goodness! I love it!
They do look awfully cute sleeping... I love a sleeping baby.
They are both so cute! Traveling and being away from home is hard for babies...especially teething babies. Hopefully he feels better soon.
