i kid you not, i swear my kids are never happier than when i drop them off at grandma's house so i can go to work. the minute we take them out of their car seats and set them on the floor in the family room, they start smiling and waving their arms and laughing. and then grandma goes and gets her fun toys, which they LOVE. i guess the toys at home just don't compare. :)
grandma (tyler's mom) periodically sends me pictures of the kids while she's babysitting. it's fun to check my phone at work and find pictures of my kiddos waiting for me.
here they are for your viewing pleasure!
i'm 100% certain the reason there are more pictures of austin is because he doesn't SLEEP as well as his sister does. poor grandma. i feel bad when he (or she or both!) don't sleep well for her.
...so, actually, my kids get excited for pretty much anyone BUT me. tyler comes home, they're estatic! my mom comes over, they can't stop smiling! they go to grandma's when i work and they can't contain their excitement! i come home from work, it's like "oh...mom's home," and they continue doing what they were doing. since we spend almost every waking moment together, i guess it's not as exciting when i show up. hehehe.

Wait tl they start getting owies or booboos, they will want their mommy to make it all better! Even as they get older, they will always want, and call their mommy! Ask David! :)
I know how you feel except at our house Colton won't scream for anyone else but me. It's awesome being home with him all day...I get followed and screamed at, but when Matt has him he's always good. Funny how things work out like that.
It's because daddys and grandmas are so much fun! Zac just loves anyone who gives him lots and lots of attention lol.
At least you know they are happy while your at work!
