the poor thing keeps throwing up - in massive amounts. (i have a picture but i decided to spare you.) she had her 9 month check-up today and her pediatrician, dr. cornish, thinks it might be reflux-related. she went off her reflux medication two or three weeks ago and i thought if there was a problem it would manifest immediately.
apparently that's not how it works.
dr. cornish told me that it takes awhile for the medication to leave her system and for her body to adjust to working on its own, so the fact that she's now just showing signs is not abnormal. we re-started her on prevacid tonight, but she tossed her cookies shortly after, so i'm hoping she absorbed enough of it before that happened.
the saddest part is, after she throws up, she's happy and cheerful. almost like it never happened.
i sure hope it stops soon!

Hope she feels better soon! My kids see Dr. Cornish too! We love him enough to make the drive.
